The Delta Collective is a London-based theatre company and collective creating brave, dangerous theatre rooted in movement.
Alongside creating theatre, we are best known for our weekly Scene Study group.
The name ‘Delta’ comes from the geographical form of a delta - any location where tiny streams and tributaries come together to form one large body of water.
Like our namesake, we exist to create flow, connection, and growth by facilitating theatre and workshops, and helping actors and creators discover new ways of working with energetic, ambitious peers.
★ ★ ★ ★ - LGBTQ Arts Review: Lysistrata is “eighty minutes of farcical comedy, sex-jokes, political debate, dance, moving composition, boners, bananas and the odd bit of sex” … “From sex orgies to robbing banks it’s a thrill to watch such a large and diverse cast construct a number of scenes using only their bodies and words, and Olivia Stone does a fantastic job as director”
The Authentic Project interview: “Hopefully, [Lysistrata] showcased how ambitious we are, and that we’re willing to take risks, be bold, make courageous choices, and do what other companies won’t do.”
Miro Magazine feature: “Their dynamism and energy is infectious and whatever hurdles lie ahead for their new company, a quote from the late Kurt Vonnegut Jr. seems more than apt here: ‘What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.’”
