Conduct & Confidentiality

There will be a Delta Collective team person at every workshop and event, and they will be more than happy to talk you through any of these guidelines.

Practical Things

We expect a similar standard of conduct to most drama schools/institutions. We really feel strongly that we want to show our visiting tutors and hosts the same level of dedication and respect they are showing us.

Your phone/tablet should be on do not disturb or airplane mode at all times during workshops.

Please dress in studio blacks - ie: all black rehearsal clothing such as exercise trousers/leggings, and a comfortable black top. Bring or wear trainers/dance shoes, but do prepare to be asked to go without shoes and/or socks.

You will also need a notebook and a pen, a pencil and a highlighter; a bottle of water; and to tie your hair back off your face.

Please arrive between 30 and 15 minutes early for your workshop so that you can warm up!

No food or drink (other than water) can be consumed and there is no smoking allowed inside of any of our venues. There will be a break scheduled into all workshops for snacks and smoke breaks but do please make sure you eat and smoke in the designated areas.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time of any workshop, we reserve the right to refuse entry to avoid disrupting the tutor and other attendees. No refunds are offered in this case.

Social Media

Please credit us (and our lovely tutors/hosts) if you post photos on your social media accounts. We love to follow our members’ progress and feedback, and see their insights into the work they have done!

Confidentiality

Be mindful that our tutors and hosts have taken time out of their busy schedules to teach you, and empower you with the knowledge you need to navigate this often very difficult industry. This means that they may be revealing personal experiences or ugly truths that need to remain “in the room”. Please do not quote the tutors or hosts by name if you are recounting the workshop to your friends, or on social media. By protecting their anonymity you are allowing them to continue to share candidly with you.

Terms and Conditions

Please read the full Terms & Conditions here. These are non-negotiable and any booking received is considered to be made with this information in mind.

By booking and paying for a workshop or event with us, you agree to abide by these guidelines. If you are found to have breached them, your membership will be cancelled and you will not be refunded for any future payments you have made.
